The Mosaic Course

Mosaic making is very calming and therapeutic. My fun and relaxed approach - coupled with patience and attention to detail - will add to your experience, which will be evident in your finished artwork. Cutting mosaic tiles requires the strength similar to cracking a walnut with a nutcracker.

The size of your mosaic will be square 30 x 30 cm or rectangular 25 x 35 cm. It will fit in your (hand) luggage.

The course takes places from 1 participant onwards
Maximum 3 participants
Suitable for all levels from beginners to advanced
No age limit as long as physically fit and able to cut mosaic tiles

You will choose from a myriad of different coloured mosaic tiles to create your unique art piece.

You will learn different cutting techniques and work with different materials such as glass, ceramic, small objects - you can choose almost anything for your design. I will take you through each process step-by-step. At the end of the week you will have created a beautiful artwork, ready for you to take home.

Prior to your arrival, I will ask you to send me 3-4 pics of a mosaic design you like. That way I am well prepared by the time you arrive. I will also make sure that the size will fit in your luggage: rectangular 30x40 cm or square 35x35 cm.

Your Week

Day 1 - Arrival anytime during day/evening - meet & greet, unpack relax - Dinner/Snacks depending on arrival time

Day 2 - Breakfast - visit our local market with lunch - Early afternoon: get ready for your mosaic - Dinner at home

Day 3 - Breakfast - Mosaic Making - Light Lunch - Mosaic Making/Pool/Beach - Dinner at home

Day 4 - Breakfast - Mosaic Making - Visit Fethiye with lunch - Mosaic Making - Dinner at home

Day 5 - Breakfast - Mosaic Making - Lightt Lunch - Option to visit Oludeniz Blue Lagoon, Dalyan/Iztuzu Beach, Gocek, Hamam, or relax at home/beach - Dinner at home (or on your trip). These trips are not included and can be arranged when you are here.

Day 6 - Breakfast - Finish your mosaic - Light Lunch - Fix & Grout your Mosaic - Relax at home/beach or optioonal trips - Dinner at local restaurant

Day 7 - Guests can stay until it's time to leave. Includes breakfast and light lunch, depending on departure time
